Shaykh Zaid bin Haroon

Early Life and Qur’an Memorization
Shaykh Zaid bin Haroon was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. His journey in the pursuit of Islamic knowledge began in 2000. At just 14 years old, he completed the memorization of the Holy Qur’an at Madrassah Al-Hameed under the guidance of Maulana Rafiqul Islam An-Nadawi.

He then traveled to Houston, Texas, where he spent a year in the service of Mufti Akbarullah Saleem An-Nadawi, focusing on tarbiya (spiritual development) and Qur’anic revision.

Islamic Studies and Personal Trials
After graduating from high school in 2006, Shaykh Zaid moved to New York to study at Darul Uloom New York. He benefited from the mentorship of respected scholars, including Moulana Suhail, Moulana Mikaeel, Moulana Yameen, and Hazrat Ji Moulana Ajaz Sahib.

During his time there, Shaykh Zaid faced a significant test when he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. He returned to New Orleans for four years of intensive chemotherapy treatment. By the grace of Allah (SWT), he overcame this trial and resumed his studies with renewed determination.

Advanced Studies and Teaching
He continued his studies in Chicago under the tutelage of Mufti Minhajudden Ahmed and Mufti Ehzaz Ejmeri. In 2012, he enrolled at the Institute of Islamic Education (IIE), where he completed a demanding six-year course in Islamic sciences. He received ijazah (formal authorization) in multiple disciplines, including all six authentic books of hadith (Sihah Sittah).

During his time at IIE, Shaykh Zaid was privileged to study under esteemed scholars such as: Maulana Ubaidullah Saleem, Maulana Suleyman Saleem, Dr. Mufti Yasser Nadeem Wajidi, and Hazrat Maulana Abdullah Saleem.

He also served as a part-time instructor at both IIE and DarulUloomOnline.org, contributing to the education of others while continuing his own scholarly journey.

Ifta
Between 2017 and 2018, Shaykh Zaid furthered his training in the field of Ifta (Islamic legal verdicts) under the guidance of Mufti Abrar Mirza and Mufti Yasser Nadeem.

A Life Dedicated to the Deen
Shaykh Zaid remains deeply committed to seeking and teaching sacred knowledge. His goal is to serve the Ummah and attain the pleasure of Allah (SWT) through scholarship, mentorship, and unwavering dedication to the Deen.

Mawlana Adeeb Yousuf

Early Life and Academic Excellence
Mawlana Adeeb Yousuf, the son of Munibuddin Yousuf (also  known as Mujahid in the community), was an exceptional student in his secular education. He earned a full scholarship to Xavier University and was on track to pursue a career in medicine. However, his deep passion for the Deen led him to make a life-changing decision: to leave the path of becoming a doctor and instead dedicate his life to becoming a scholar of Islam.

May Allah (SWT) accept Mawlana Adeeb’s sacrifices, bless him, and continue to increase him in knowledge and sincerity.
Islamic Education and Scholarship

In 2012, Mawlana Adeeb enrolled at the Institute of Islamic Education (IIE), where he immersed himself in the traditional Islamic sciences. Over the course of six years, he studied a wide array of disciplines, including: Arabic Grammar and Morphology, Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, Hadith and Usul al-Hadith, Tafsir and Ulum al-Qur’an, and Aqeedah and other foundational sciences.

He successfully completed his studies in 2018 and received ijazah (authorization) from his teachers to teach and transmit this sacred knowledge passed down from the Prophets (peace be upon them). Throughout his time at IIE, Mawlana Adeeb earned the respect and admiration of his instructors, peers, and younger students alike. He was deeply valued for his sincerity, humility, and character.
